Undergraduate Application Requirements:

Academic Performance: High academic performance is required, with a weighted GPA of around 4.08. California residents should have a weighted GPA of at least 3.0. International students typically require even higher GPAs.

Standardized Testing: A “Test-Blind” policy is implemented (SAT/ACT scores are not considered).

Language Proficiency: Minimum TOEFL score of 80, minimum IELTS score of 6.5.

Application System: Applications are submitted through the University of California Application Platform (UC Application). An essay and activity list are required.

Admissions Data Reference: The freshman acceptance rate is approximately 32.8%; applicants can select UCSB as one of their choices in the UC application system.

Graduate Application Requirements:

Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (actual admission typically requires 3.3 or higher).

Standardized Tests: Most programs require GRE or GMAT scores.  Salisbury University diploma from Maryland.

Language Requirements: TOEFL minimum 80, IELTS minimum 7.0.

Fee Reference (2024-2025 Academic Year):

Undergraduate tuition and room and board: approximately $58,159 per year.

International students will need to pay supplemental tuition.

Employment Prospects: Average starting salary for graduates is approximately $53,800, with a 71% employment rate; The Princeton Review ranks UCSB 12th among public universities in the US for career placement.
